The 1-9481 LIMIPHON control valve finds its principal application where
it concerns severe pressure drops involving fluids at high
temperatures. The LIMIPHON disc stack is made of material which, notwithstanding
repeated thermal shocks, does not yield to distortion. The internal
drilled cage is designed in such a way as to allow for free thermal
expansion as well as to guide the plug through the entire valve
stroke. Despite the severe pressure changes to which this valve type
is normally subjected, its performance proves exceptionally regular
with noise levels below 90dBA, even with very high fluid flowrates.
Also the 1-9181 globe-shaped, straight-way version is available.
Typical applications: steam pressure reducing stations, system pressure control valves to vent or flare

The 1-9424 LIMIPHON control valve has expressly been designed to cope
with the most critical conditions involving liquids subjected to
extremely elevated differential pressures, both during closed and open
valve positions.A special soft component, incorporated within the seal ring, has
appositely been designed so as to remain protected throughout normal
operations, thus ensuring trouble-free endurance. It also provides a
self-sealing function which is guaranteed even after extensive working
periods.
The LIMIPHON disc stack can be sized to handle differential pressures
exceeding 200 bar in an open valve position without encountering
problems related to cavitation, noise, vibrations or other
inconveniences.
Typical applications : B.F.W pump recirculation minimum flow system let-down;
Sizes : 2", 3", 4";
Ratings : up to PN 760;

The 1-9161 LIMIPHON control valve (available also in the angle-body
version, 1-9461) is recommended for the reduction of high pressures in
gaseous fluids where noise and vibrations become problematic. It also
prevents cavitation, erosion and accompanying noise during high
pressure drops involving hot liquids.The very particular trim construction type (with additional internal
cage) allows for a high control range even with very low flowrates.
Typical applications : natural gas pressure reduction stations,
deaerator level control, compressor recycle and antisurge control;
Sizes : up to 16" - Angle body type 1-9461 can be supplied with
outlet size up to 24";
Ratings : up to PN 250;
